A Father's Words

Here’s a clip from Dez Bryant that felt especially fitting this Father’s Day.

Children often internalize a father’s attitude toward them as evidence of their own worth.

A father who consistently communicates, “You matter. I believe in you. I’m here for you.” can leave a lifelong imprint.

But the absence of that message can leave a wound that many people spend years trying to understand and repair.

Thank you to all the dads setting the tone in their homes. For speaking life, love, courage, kindness, hope, wisdom, and truth into the people who look up to you most.

That’s what my father gave me.

And if I’m fortunate enough to become a father one day, it’s what I hope to give my children as well.
